East Gate Ministries exists to compassionately extend God's love to young women between the ages of 18 - 30 seeking healing, hope and restoration where rape, abuse, abortion, unplanned pregnancy, prostitution, sex-trafficking or other sexual traumas have broken lives broken lives.
Although not limited to, we make it a priority to reach at-risk young pregnant women.  We know if we can rescue the young mother, we can save her baby's life and provide a better future for her and her child whether she chooses to parent or place her baby into a loving forever home through adoption.
East Gate Ministries' Grace House is a voice for the voiceless, the hurting, the forgotten, and those without hope.

95% of the young women that walk through the Grace House doors have sadly been victims of sexual abuse
80% of Grace House residents come from imaginable circumstances
50% of Grace House residents come from prostitution and sex-trafficking
All of Grace House residents have experienced trauma before entering our program.  Their wounds are embedded deep.  As a result, many have used drugs, alcohol, self-harm or other life-controlling addictions to mute the pain.

"Addiction is a powerful force.  It can destroy everything.  Addiction almost destroyed me and the life of my preborn child!  Had it not been for East Gate's Grace House rescuing our lives, I don't know where I would be today.  One thing for cetain, this program works!"  - Former Grace House Resident

At East Gate Ministries' Grace House, lives are saved and transformed through Jesus Christ and destructive cycles are broken for future generations. Grace House is located in a beautiful setting.  We are able to house 8 residents at a time in a therapeutic, loving and peaceful environment.  Nutritious meals, exercise, art, life-skills, counseling, money management, assistance with GED/education/college, job placement and baby care are some of the many resources offered to support the young women.

The young women stay on average from 12 -18 months.  Upon graduation from the Grace House, we assist the women in finding safe housing and affordable childcare designed to help the young women become productive citizens in their communities.  After graduation, the women can stay connected through the Transitional Care Program where they can receive ongoing support and counseling.

All services are provided without government assistance and are free of charge.

East Gate Ministries is grateful for this opportunity to be a part of The Great Community Give.  Funds raised through The Great Community Give will help us purchase a vehicle to transport East Gate's Grace House residents to and from their medical and other needed appointments.
